Lucy was great! What a wonderful winery right at the beginning of our trip. Really set the bar for great experiences. The castle has amazing views of the vista over hill country out the back, and a fun interior with a great tasting of an eclectic array of wines.

December 2025 290 Wine Castle is sort of an attraction getter while driving on US 290 and hooked me in to see it in person. From the outside it looked like a castle and as you enter more like props from a renaissance festival. Lots of selfies can be done here and perfect for bachelorette parties. In the middle of it all is a large bar which was the wine tasting. I admired the place and was explained where all the wines resides from all over the world. It's a picking of the best and sold here. I did pick up a sparking wine for New Years (it was very good with nice fruity flavor). There was a small boutique hotel on site and defiantly a place to stop by to admire and taste a wine and judge.

This winery is sooo cool!!! Amazing views, great wine, amazing staff! Lucy was phenomenal!! Oh and the chocolates!!! So so good! We will definitely be back

This was my favorite experience of my Hill Country getaway this weekend! My husband and I booked the Haunted Dungeon tour and it was so much fun and a bit thrilling! We went through various rooms in the dungeon each with different wine tastings and some sweet treats to pair, YUM! The selection was great including the frozen sangria spiked witch’s brew and the tour guide Chelsea did a phenomenal job in her role of making the experience come to life, we loved Chelsea! Apart from the dungeon, the staff were so friendly, the inside of the castle was beautiful with traditional decor, and the view from the outdoor area was fantastic! We had so much fun and will for sure be back in time for their Winter Wonderland themed wine tasting tour!
