do not go here!!! i had a terrible experience. i came in as a walk in and immediately asked the woman at the front desk if that was okay (she was very kind and patient btw) and was told yes, without any mention of a longer wait time or a suggestion of scheduling an appointment due to them being booked up. i had some issues finding my insurance which added to my wait time at no fault of the doctors obviously, but once the issue was revolved the doctor made a snarky comment about me having a previous appointment scheduled—which im assuming was scheduled by my mom or sister? not sure what that was about, but i do feel that added to my treatment and experience. understanding that I was a walk-in, I tried to be patient and I waited for almost an hour . no one acknowledged the wait time, or gave me an estimated wait time. another walk-in came in about 15 minutes before I left and was called after 5 minutes for what im assuming was a pre-exam consultation, which i hadn’t even received. a few minutes after i left i got a call asking if i wanted to be seen and that they “couldn’t find me” even though I told the front desk I’d be leaving. most people understand the wait, especially as a walk in, but I do think 45 minutes of sitting without acknowledging the wait time or any communication at all is a terrible business practice, I would’ve even appreciated a heads up by the woman at the front desk like “hey we have a lot of appointments today so it may take up to an hour for you to be seen” that way I could’ve left my information and came back at a better time. hopefully i can find a place that won’t waste so much of my time.

OMGOSH!!!!!! Was so so pleased with Advanced Eye Care of Texas. Everyone is so nice. I graduated from readers to full time glasses. But with their help and encouragement I tried contacts. Saw Dr Nguyen first day. Super sweet but very knowledgeable. Went next day for contacts with Dr. La. I absolutely love the bright and wonderful energy they have. Dr. La was recommended by just about everyone in my salon from staff to clients. Wearing glasses full time will be an adjustment for me so Im so pleased it started out with this wonderful ophthalmology clinic.

Dr. La and her staff are amazing at what they do. Dr. La has a way of explaining each detail of the exams so anyone could understand. They are great with eye care, but they are also extremely kind and caring! Every time I come in, it’s like catching up with a good friend!
