I am so happy to write this review for Rachel T at Advantage. The first thing we decided was which test to take - SAT or ACT. I’m not from the U.S. so I really had NO idea about the difference. Ultimately, she worked with my daughter on ACT testing, and was so supportive and thorough throughout. There is much I didn’t know and so many things that were changing about requirements, like whether the science section was necessary any longer. Advantage is up to date on it all! They also know which schools require testing, which was helpful. Rachel gave feedback after each session, keeping me informed on what was covered, what material my daughter was acing, and what she still needed to work on. She did mock testing to make my daughter, who definitely has some test anxiety, comfortable with the process. In the end, my girl came out with perfect results on key sections and she just got the college admission of her dreams. My daughter and I can both exhale! Life is good! I had a fantastic experience with Advantage Testing. I started with a 29 on my PACT and ultimately scored a 35 on my ACT after six months of tutoring. Julie Simon was an outstanding tutor, and bolstered my skills and confidence tremendously. The access to practice tests and tutoring was invaluable, and I took about 18 practice tests throughout my time with Advantage. Julie was patient, kind, fun, and so knowledgable, and I can say that I genuinely enjoyed my testing process. Not only did my score increase, I felt a lot of general academic confidence going into my junior year. I am so grateful to Advantage and Julie, and I could not recommend it enough!
