I really have liked to work with this company. I have a great house that needs a little work on the outside. The irrigation system was broken in multiple locations. Many contractors I called first were only interested in jobs that involved thousands of dollars worth of repairs. They were not interested in coming out and doing simple maintenance on an existing system. Either they never called back or came up with repeated excuses on why they could not come. I guess business must be good for them already. ALD promptly gave me a quote that was very reasonable, and Chris came out on time and set up new sprinkler valves and heads. I think my system is old as there was a problem with a leak that required me to all ALD at 5p on a Sunday. Almost miraculously Bob came out and fixed this without charge. Chris also came a second time and fine-tuned some of the valves. I like them because Mary, the scheduler, and the front-line staff are very friendly and responsive. The bottom line is that you can work with them - they come out to do repairs that apparently other companies on Yelp will not do, for whatever reason. I would suggest that when you fix the irrigation system you know the valves to turn them off without have to turn off the whole house supply. Many systems are old and leak, and it is very handy to be able to turn off the water supply until ALD can come out and look at it. My house has a front lawn and a rear lawn valve, so even if the system won't turn off, you can shut off the irrigation valve to that area
