Amazing service and delicious food. Some of the pricing is higher than it needs to be (like why is bread $14?) but everything we ate was amazing and they gave us the gelato for free, whichqas incredible kind. Amazing experience, definitely worth coming and coming back!

We enjoyed an anniversary celebration and chose this place after seeing a flood of appraisals. It did not disappoint. The service was friendly and well executed from the first greeting at the door until the last minute. We started with the bread, which is not something that we usually order as we dont want to get filled quickly with carbs but this one was amazing and memorable. The ricotta gnochi appeared to be a popular dish amongst the online reviewers. It was good, but I created higher expectations than it delivered. We shared it, but I think that eating the whole plate would get boring. The fresh pasta was very good. The sauce was classic and confort food, but it lacks a touch of originality.

Arrived at 7:30pm for our reservation on a Monday with a group of 6 for one of our birthdays. Seated, provided water, and placed our initial food order relatively quickly, ordering our mains shortly after. Everything we tried was delicious! Starters we had the Roasted Spanish octopus, bluefin tuna crudo, and wood fired meatballs; for mains we had the ricotta dumplings (x2), squash sacchetti, tortellini, rigatoni, paccheri, and a soppressata pizza. Would gladly order everything a second time, table favorites were the spare ribs, ricotta dumplings, and soppressata pizza! Ribs were super tender, dumplings were incredibly fluffy and light, and pizza was perfectly crispy! Possibly the best Italian pizza we’ve had in the city. For dessert we had the pumpkin ricotta cake (more like a pie), tiramisu, chocolate hazelnut fudge sundae, and the burthday cake ice cream they gave us. We think the tiramisu wins here, very light coffee flavor isn’t overpowering, all we’re good! The chocolate hazelnut is more like dark chocolate sea salt, if you don’t like salty don’t order this! They comp’d a couple desserts and the pizza as they made a mistake and prepared the wrong one initially, they were honest and up front about it though. It was definitely worth the wait! Highly recommend! We will all be back in the future!

First time customers- from the time we walked in to the time we got the dessert menu. The service was absolutely exceptional. My husband and I had the espresso martini and the Bicycle thief. As for our entrées, we had the chicken Parmesan and the seafood malfadine. Both very hearty dishes. We also had their famous in-house bread which is to die for- we also had the la Vida chopped- this salad was extremely flavorful. Thank you to our server Logan for all of the suggestions you were extremely helpful and one of the nicest servers we’ve had in a long time. Thank you for a phenomenal night and we hope to visit your establishment in the near future.

Finally made it to Alla Vita, not sure why it took me so long! Everything from the cocktails to the dishes was spot on and made for a really enjoyable meal. My favorites were the Liuzzi Burrata, Spanish Octopus, and the Lasagna Verdi, each one packed with flavor and beautifully presented. We wrapped up with some pistachio gelato, and since we were celebrating a birthday, we also tried their signature birthday cake/ice cream combo. It was so good it made me want to come back just to celebrate again.
