The environment is welcoming and the overall atmosphere is highly positive. Coaches demonstrate strong attentiveness to each student’s individual needs, thoughtfully identifying areas for improvement and addressing ineffective habits to support continued development. Their instruction is clear, direct, and precise. Additionally, the front desk staff consistently provide friendly, professional, and knowledgeable service. I will continue to support and encourage friends to join.

I am loving this place! I am an absolute newbie to BJJ and any form of martial arts so I was terrified for my first lesson! What I love so much about this place is the structure. Being able to do 3 one on one instruction before the first class was so helpful! I had the absolute honor of working with professor Dulce who is an absolute BEAST! She is very kind and gives wonderful constructive feedback. It's nice to see another short female because it shows me that its about skill not size. Very inspiring! Everyone at the front desk has been so incredibly kind and never fail to chat it up with me. I am so excited to keep training here with the wonderful support they have and the kind people that fill this place!

Alliance San Diego has a very strong, positive and welcoming culture that is rare to find at gyms. The gym is always clean and the mats/equipment are top notch. All of the instructors are very knowledgeable and accomplished jiu jitsu athletes and are very patient with their students.
