We are so grateful for the team at Animal Medical Center. Our dog Lhotse was hospitalized for 5 days with elevated liver levels and we’ve had a few follow ups since. All the staff we interacted with from the front desk to surgeons and the Dr’s treated us with absolute kindness, professionalism, and compassion during difficult times. We spent many hours in visitation with our dog near the holidays, and they accommodated without hesitation. We were given options of care with costs every step of the way which was very helpful and transparent. The team and specialists here are so knowledgeable. Big shoutout to Dr. Ravi for helping educate us during the process so we felt we were able to make educated and confident decisions in care plans. We appreciate you Dr. Ravi! The staff interacting with Lhotse were so gentle with her, and Lhotse left being friends with the Dr’s (showing excitement to see them which isn’t normal for our dog so we know she was treated kindly when she was in their care lol). Even at follow ups we had the team come say hello to Lo which means so much to us. Lhotse is home and getting back to healthy thanks to the wonderful team at AMC. We highly recommend this hospital and can’t thank you all enough for helping us!

Unfortunately, our interactions with AMC have been under less than ideal circumstances as our dogs battled cancer. The care provided has been top notch, and that they are open 24-hours allowed for such things as picking up prescriptions at all hours when needed.

The care that Yuki received at Animal Medical Center of Seattle, especially from Dr. Evans of oncology and urgent care teams, meant more to me than words can fully express. During the last two weeks of her life, when she was in and out of the ER with GI failure, she was treated not as “just a cat,” but as a deeply loved family member with her own unique needs and personality. The staff (reception, vet tech, internal medicine (from Dr. Donovan), and oncology team) consistently showed genuine compassion and gentleness toward Yuki, even when she was fragile and uncomfortable. It was clear that their priority was always her comfort and dignity, and that gave me the strength to keep going, one difficult day at a time. In Yuki’s final days and at the very end, the whole team handled each step with empathy, clarity, and grace. They balanced advanced medical care with an understanding of how emotionally devastating this journey was, giving me space to ask questions, to cry, and to say goodbye without feeling rushed. Knowing that Yuki was surrounded by people who were not only highly skilled but also deeply compassionate is a comfort that I will carry with me always. To everyone at Animal Medical Center of Seattle - and especially to Dr. Evans - thank you for giving Yuki such excellent, loving care throughout the last few years, and for treating us both with such humanity. Your kindness made an unbearable time a little more bearable, and I will always be grateful for the way you walked with us through the end of her journey.

We had a scary experience with our puppy after she ingested marijuana residue while sniffing around downtown Seattle. She became very lethargic and wobbly, and as first-time puppy parents we were understandably panicked. I called this emergency vet and was immediately relieved that a real person answered the phone. The staff member I spoke with knew right away what was going on and calmly explained that this is, unfortunately, a fairly common situation in urban areas. Even over the phone, they were reassuring, knowledgeable, and kind. We ultimately decided to bring our puppy in so a professional could lay eyes on her. The team confirmed what had happened, had a vet quickly examine her, and took the time to thoroughly explain what symptoms we might see and what to watch for as she recovered. Their clear communication and calm demeanor made a very stressful situation much easier to handle. We’re so grateful for their compassion, expertise, and the reassurance they provided during a moment of panic. I wouldn’t hesitate to call or return here again if we ever need emergency care.

It’s already stressful having to take your little one to vet when you know something is not right. The gentleman we had our consultation with was wonderful. Positive, thorough, honest and patient. He asked all the right questions and took such detailed notes. I’ve never felt more listened to. It was calming in a tense situation. I knew my Lu was in good hands. I’ve already recommended this clinic to a friend. Wish I lived closer but it was well worth the travel.
