I went in to get advice on one of my bougainvillea plants that I have had for years that is not blooming. They are very knowledgeable and take their time to explain to you what the problem could be.

Overall, this is definitely my go-to spot for all things gardening in Santa Monica. I highly recommend it to anyone in the area! From the moment you walk in there, you are greeted by a vibrant array of plants and flowers that instantly lifted the spirits. Their selection is pretty big for being so central in the SM neighborhood, offering everything from seasonal blooms to local plants that can satisfy both novice gardeners and seasoned horticulturists. The staff is usually exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable. Last time I bough a lemon tree they ensured that I knew the right tips to take care of them, and also, cherry atop of the cake, should the tree not grow as planned or die, I could return it within a certain time period (I forgot the exact time) - but so far so good, it’s a really good quality tree. With a large outdoor area as well as an indoor one for more sensitive plants, the gardens are well-organized, and it's easy to find what you're looking for. Parking wise they are pretty convenient with a lot in the middle of the outdoor areas. Whether you're looking to start a new garden project or just want to add a touch of greenery to your home, Armstrong Garden Centers is the place to go.

A friend of mine passes up numerous great nurseries in order to get to Armstrong's. He's got a true Green thumb and propagates his garden from trees and bushes he finds in our community. He's seeking out products that I would never buy such as environmentally soil. You never ceases to amaze me with the expense of knowledge and I treasures having as such a nursery that would cater dismissed opportunity.
