All guitar players need to support this treasure. Best amp and guitar repair service in Texas, he'll probably the entire USA. Thanks Bill and thank you to the entire staff for treating a customer as a friend. Great work, and seriously I drive 2 hours, 1 way to buy, sell, trade and repair with Austin Vintage Guitars.

These guys have a nice selection of guitars however, if you are selling; be aware. I deal in high-end guitars, mainly private acquisitions/sales etc. These guys really tried the ole “This one and that one needs work….bla bla bla.” The buying process may be better, and for as long as these guys have been around….likely so. I will say,; the selling process had a bit of a used car vibe. I may return as a buyer, but I’d never attempt to sell them anything again.

Really cool store/collection, just bad hospitality. ‘Gatekeepy’ vibe in there. Specifically the short guy with curly grey hair who kind of looks like Zach Galafanakis if he got heavily electrocuted like Marv in home alone 2. Nonetheless, everyone has their off days. It just seems like every day is this guys off day. This guy was pretty helpless with little to no enthusiasm. You would think when a customer wants to spend thousands of dollars on potentially multiple instruments, the floor salesman would be jumping out of his trousers to move them. Just not the case here. Oddly bad experience. Also pretty overpriced compared to other dealers. Get it together lad

Has a stolen bass of mine I sent photos. I am changing my review in hopes that they work with Reverb to get this back to me.

MUST SEE Guitar store! While I was in Austin, I found this incredible vintage guitar store. I have been to hundreds of guitar stores over the decades and this is one of the best vintage guitar and amplifier stores that I have ever visited. Friendly staff and amazing inventory. I highly recommend this store.
