I recently started working out with Alyssa at Awaken and can’t say enough good things about my experience there. With her extensive background, she is extremely knowledgeable about the gym’s equipment, her client’s form and different exercises. She structures workouts specifically to my goals/areas of focus. My sessions with her have added so much variety to my exercise regimen and it makes the hour fly by! The gym is also super clean, updated and has lots of variety of equipment.

I’ve been working out with Todd for about 6 months now and have really enjoyed the workouts, both at the gym and the home program he wrote for me. He has really helped me improve form and timing of various lifts and I’ve noticed increased strength and muscle gain since working out at Awaken. I came to Todd after dealing with a herniated disc. I had been doing PT for a few months, but I wanted to build strength so these kinds of injuries would be less likely in the future. I was mostly healed when I started working with him, but he helped me through a few flare-ups early on. Todd knew I wanted to get stronger for climbing while keeping my back safe, and he really helped me do just that. He paid close attention to every movement, always checked in on how things felt, and made sure I was training safely. I feel way more confident in my training now and I’ve been able to get back to my regular activities without issues from my back. Todd is a fantastic trainer and I’d highly recommend him and this gym.
