I've been to a few studios around the DFW area and Balanced Being Yoga & Wellness is one of my favorite studios. I'm not a regular yogi but have always felt welcomed as if I was one each time I have attended a class. Everyone is always so welcoming and kind. One of the most recent classes I have taken (smoke and stretch with Allison) was so relaxing. I seriously melted away during the class and walked out feeling rejuvenated. I've never been to a studio like this before. You can tell the owner puts her heart and soul into her business and has a very unique and innovative way of running it. Which I absolutely love. If you're looking for a different experience, check this studio out.

I had kind of a bad experience here today. The class was nice but once it was over the teacher, Diana Perov asked me if I was expecting. I’m not. She then went on about contraindications in pregnancy (which were not accurate) and I had to tell her a second time that I am not pregnant. I had my kid 4 years ago. It felt so bad, everyone in the class could hear the whole exchange, I was so embarrassed and it’s affected me negatively in the hours since.

I had an incredible experience at a stretch and sound class taught by Allison. The class was extremely restorative and calming, and I appreciated all the modification options and encouragement to do what feels good for our unique bodies. Highly recommend!

Natalie has been so amazing as a teacher and as a human being. She encourages her students to feel their way through the practice instead of focusing on the end result of a pose, which is so important in an instructor. In just a few classes she has helped me to open up my energy, and find a nuanced connection with my practice that wasn’t there before. I recommend Natalie’s class for anyone who is new to yoga, or coming back after a long slumber.
