Worst experience ever. Furniture took way longer than told and the no one ever called me. I had to keep calling every few weeks for updates. Then one of the 4 items arrived broken and once again zero customer service.

We bought a sectional recliner couch from Bassett 4 months back and it was the worst couch we ever got. “EXPENSIVE COUCH” !!!!!!!The couch seat was torn when we received and the couch covers were small for the couch size. Unequal size seats. Uncomfortable to sit. Over all it looked like we got a second hand couch from Craigslist. Contacted customer service and the repaired the tear and tried to replace the seats , but still the same issue. The couch seats bend and go inwards every time we use the recliner and we have manually pull the seat up. Contacted customer service and we are still waiting for a response…… Putting in additional review as The store manager John from Bassett reached out and he helped us get a new couch with a better material which is a lot better than the original one. So I have increased the stars for the service team and the John who helped us . Thank you for listening to us.

Bought a sofa/chase for $9,500 in Jan. By Oct one of the cushions had the stitching come apart at the edges near the welt. So much for quality. Called the store a few times to get the store manager since it's under warranty. They're not replacing the whole cushion, just the casing that covers the foam. We have to put the old cushion into the new casing and hope it looks the same as the others. Plus it will take 4 months to get this replacement casing. Didn't take more than 4 minutes to take our money when we bought but its 4 months to wait for warranty replacements. Not exactly the experience I was going for when I plonked down 9K on what I thought would be a premium sofa with premium customer satisfaction

The store and designs are beautiful however the quality of the furniture is pretty regular considering the price. Bought a recliner that was supposed to be all leather and it started to peel on the armrest after 5 months...the store manager says parts are vinyl And that probably our skin oil is damaging it!! So I guess the recliner is meant to be for decorative purposes exclusively! Not to mention they didn't disclose parts were vinyl.

Basset’s furtinure styles and customizing fabrics are great. But be ware of making the right cushion selection. In my case, the couch I sat on in the store and the one I received was drastically harder! The store would not make them softer - even though I offered to pay the extra cost! So I’m stuck without a return policy. Also, if you buy a new mattress there, make sure you tell them to let it breath for a few weeks before delivery — it’s been about 2months and I’m still coughing from the fire retardant fumes! Their response - ‘that’s because we make them to order and wrap the up, unlike our competitors, it shouldn’t be harmful...” How about showing more concern for my worry over toxity and lack of sleep? The service and attention from my sales rep Bobby was great and fun. Wish I was happier with the result... but as she said, the cushions will soften up and the fumes will eventually evaporate...
