Dishes and drink are slightly small in portion. appetizers Egg and steak are good, pasta. Pie and sausages w/ mash potatoes dishes are so basic without unique flavors. Mini sized Cocktails (figgy pudding) has no taste of rye whisky nor form in it. My friend beer wasn’t even ice cold either. The place has nice interior but quality of food & drink are below average overalls.

For a British place on the water, I thought the fish and chips was going to be at least average, if not above average. It wasn’t. One piece of fish for $27 and it was tough around the edges. Didn’t taste like they seasoned the fish or the batter. Fries were blah. Would have much preferred a McDonald’s fish sandwich with fries

Stopped for a quick lunch while sightseeing. Got the Bacon wrapped dates appetizer and it was BETTER than expected, which is saying a lot since I thought it would be good. Just split a chicken wrap, which was good and big enough to satisfy both of us!!

The Beef and Guinness stew was very good. Lots of flavor. Steak Frites was good but had a bit of gristle. Fries were tasty. Really enjoyed the Noble Steed, bourbon, sweet vermouth, raspberry and chocolate bitters, what a treat. Service was very good and friendly. Not very loud so it was easy to have a conversation without having to yell.

I had a really good time coming here for the first time. The employees are nice and friendly and they bring a good vibe. The food is really good too. First time trying British food, and I was impressed. The cocktails are amazing as well. Only complaint would be the portion sizes of the main dishes and the bread pudding. Dessert was way too hot, and most likely microwaved. The lamb was spot on!
