Beaupix Is used by my organization for professional photos and I was sent as a newly hired executive to do a professional headshot. From the first touch point with Ryuji, I knew he was a very reputable and accomplished Photographer. Even though this was a headshot, the pre-session coaching I received was thorough and addressed things I would not have thought needing attention just for a headshot. This really allowed me to prep thoroughly before my arrival When I arrived, in preparation for the session, I shared my strong discomfort at being photographed. I was also very concerned about being “over filtered” as I wanted my picture to be an accurate representation of myself, whether viewed through that photo or in person. During the session he very skillfully engaged me in multiple diverse and intelligent conversations around topics like foods, hobbies, favorite vacations, and economics. I relaxed and engaged in conversation naturally, laughing, smiling or at times, contemplative. He so strategically moved me into a place of relaxation, that it wasn’t until we were almost done that I realized he wasn’t just taking practice shots, but these were my official session photographs! His technique worked beautifully! I absolutely loved the one we settled on after going through multiple options. Ryuji Listened to my concerns and did an absolutely outstanding job in making the least amount of corrections to give me the best result. Once he’d completed edits, he toggled between the before and after iterations, and I was absolutely thrilled at the impact the very strategic minimal changes accomplished. This picture truly represents me in every way, and portrays me from the inside out. If you are a person who struggles with being photographed or fear of being “edited out of who you are”, give this studio, a call. I had my professional headshot taken for my company’s website and I cannot recommend Beaupix enough. Ryuji was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and best of all, a master at his craft. My pictures turned out great. I never knew how enjoyabl it could be to converse and have my picture taken!

I needed a headshot for my linkedIn page and after a search online, I found Beaupix Studio. I really liked the headshots that Ryuji had on his website and decided to take a chance. Ryuji was an outstanding photographer. It was not just some other picture to be taken where you look at the camera, smile, and are on your way. Ryuji is very personable and a great conversationalist which he uses outstandingly to get to know his subjects and ensure that their personality is reflected in the headshots. He provides lots of details on how to prepare for the shoot and is attentive to feedback throughout.
