Black Inc Tax Services was one of the WORST tax preparation experiences I’ve had. I used them for my tax return and am still dealing with what appears to be a filing error that triggered incorrect notices from the City of Los Angeles, which has is still not resolved. The most frustrating part has been the lack of responsiveness and follow-through. I raised the issue before and was told it would be handled, but nothing was actually resolved. I am still receiving notices and still trying to get basic answers. I also had concerns about how my personal information was handled. On top of that, my boyfriend had a separate bad experience with them involving a multi-state return that resulted in additional IRS costs after mistakes were made. Based on our experience, I would strongly recommend avoiding this company if you want accuracy, professionalism, and accountability.
