I only stumbled across this place in a flurry of activity during an off afternoon of a wedding weekend. Part bookstore. Part coffee shop. Part hangout for folks of all ages and interests. Definitely queer friendly. The folks at the counter couldn't have been nicer and more welcoming. You dont have to be inside more than 10 minutes to know that this isn't about money- this is about community. And on some Sundays- a DJ!- great music.

Bookish is such a gem! They have a wonderful selection of both new and used books, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. I love that they host events—it really makes the store feel like part of the community. The little coffee shop inside is adorable and always serves up quick, tasty drinks. It’s the perfect spot to browse, read, or just hang out. Highly recommend checking it out!

The best gem of a bookstore! It’s peaceful, the people are so friendly, their book selection is always nostalgic and I love it, they sell artisan items of fellow small businesses too! They host family friendly free Rockin Roly concerts & other cool things like movie night. It’s a safe space for Moms to enjoy coffee while their kids play pretend in the fort. My dream bookstore/coffeeshop vibe

Fell in love the minute we walked in the door! The employees are so friendly and fun, and the shop is so welcoming and the vibe is so relaxing and it’s so aesthetically pleasing. The resale cost of the books is actually what should be expected when you talk about used, resold books. They have beautiful art all over the shop for sale, cute “buy used” shirts and Bookish tote bags. I’ve also never seen a book store with a projector and board games to play, that with the coffee, it just made it feel like such a welcoming space for people to just be. To say I didn’t wanna leave is to say the least. I wish we had a store like this where we’re from. Bookish has a piece of my heart and we’ll just have to plan another trip back to revisit.
