We were told by the salesperson that the floors we purchased could be sanded 2-3x which was a major factor in our decision to purchase. Four years later, every contractor we’ve contacted refuses to sand them, saying it would damage or ruin the floors. This is not a minor detail, it directly affects the longevity and appearance of the product. Had we been given accurate information, we never would have bought them and gone with a different option. Their sales pitch was extremely misleading and needs to be updated to reflect the current market reality of these floors - aka contractors will refuse to touch them. They refuse to talk to us about it too.
