To celebrate my birthday, we traveled to Canyon Lake with our boat in tow. Upon arrival, we found the public boat ramps overcrowded, so we called Canyon Lake Marina. The sweetest voice answered, and Addy assured us that they could accommodate us—no problem. She patiently answered my many questions and the next morning was at the desk with her beautiful smile and kind ways to get us set for a fun time on the lake. We had a great time fishing, swimming and just buzzing across the lake, and were very pleased with the slip, parking and especially with Addy’s customer service and pleasing personality! Happy birthday to me!

I only gave you 5 Stars because 10 wasn't available. These are the kindest, most helpful, professional people you will ever meet. From the first young lady to the last person that dropped us off at the car. (I'm 59, Mom's 81.) These people were amazing and will be our first choice every time. Canyon Lake and the Canyon Lake Marina are a must-see! It’s a calm, beautiful spot that’s perfect for the whole family. There are plenty of activities to enjoy — we especially loved the scenic trails. A peaceful and fun getaway with something for everyone!

Canyon Lake Marina – Mixed Experience Canyon Lake Marina is an okay spot to visit, but keep in mind that as of October 2024, the water levels are significantly low, which affects the overall experience. If you’re looking for scenic hikes or long walks, this might not be the ideal place, as there aren't many trails or paths nearby. That said, the highlight here is undoubtedly the breathtaking sunset. It’s the kind of view that makes the trip worthwhile. However, the area feels a bit past its prime and could use some improvements. It’s worth visiting for the sunset, but don’t set your expectations too high beyond that.
