Dining inside a train made the experience feel unique and fun, especially with the views along the Sunset Strip. The hot dog and burrito were both tasty, and the train wreck fries were a must try. This is a place we will absolutely visit again on our next trip to LA.

Both the exterior and interior are really cool since they’re remodeled from an actual train. We ordered the LA Dog and Carney’s, and both were great. The beer prices are reasonable, and it’s a fun place to stop by for a casual snack.

Sooo...I'm not sure if it was the weekday type food or what, I had such a high expectation for this place, I mean come on its in a train..in Hollywood..hotdogs!!! How hard could it be to mess up a hotdog? I took a bite and it was like biting into a plastic bag, besides that would it be too much to ask them to dice up the tomato, come on we in Sunset Blvd ain't no one got time for that chunky mess! Now for them 🍟, dont they look nice and pretty, well not every thing is what it seems that cheese was no nachos cheese it was a sandwich cheese melted on them fries...a microwave melted sandwich cheese and it was not no Kraft cheese but that nasty plastic looking cheese! I will leave it at that cus my kiddos read my reviews and I must be nice! But I do think everyone deserves the truth, the place honestly has soooo much potential but the owner seems to have let it go! It really is a beautiful concept and nice looking! The hamburger was actually decent! Hope they put alot more effort in their food, especially for what I paid:/

Carney’s on Sunset Boulevard offers classic L.A. indulgence in a nostalgic rail‑car setting paired with unapologetically messy, gloriously flavorful eats. Their Red Eye chili dog, a spicy Polish sausage drenched in rich chili, onions, mustard, tomato, and pickles is a “delicious, flavorful, balanced gloopy mess”. The hamburgers, juicy and topped with savory chili, are equally unmissable comfort food at its most iconic. No trip to LA is complete until you go to Carney’s on Sunset.

Tired their 1/2 lbs cheeseburger with chili and red dog. Was probably too much of all the goodness but still tasty. Well done burger in a cozy different environment.
