Our whole house humidifier was not working and we called Chapman Heating to check on it. Our technician, Michael, checked our furnace and humidifier and determined that the furnace had a part that was not working properly. He had the part ordered. He returned when the part was available and installed the part and determined humidifier was working properly but the thermostat was not set to operate the humidifier. He reset the thermostat and the humidifier is working perfectly. Michael was very efficient and knowledgeable and made the needed repairs to our system. His work was 5 star. I would give him and Chapman 10 stars if possible.

Chapman Heating and Cooling installed a brand-new 15-ton HVAC unit in our commercial property, a project totaling over $40,000. Unfortunately, the system has not worked properly since day one. Every time we have reached out for help, we’ve been met with delays, excuses, and avoidance. Instead of resolving the ongoing issues, they continue trying to push us into signing a service agreement for a unit that was improperly installed from the start. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend Chapman Heating and Cooling for commercial HVAC installation or service.

We had been very happy with our service through Chapman Heating and Cooling for many years. Miles was a regular technician for us and was always so friendly and very good at his job. We had our indoor unit replaced 7 years ago and then our outdoor unit replaced 2 years ago, both through Chapman. However, we have had several issues the last few years and were becoming increasingly frustrated. After Miles left, we weren't always getting a consistent technician. We didn't feel like we were receiving the same level of service. A couple years ago we had an issue with our heat that was not being resolved. It was during a very cold time of the year and we were having to nearly rely solely on space heaters throughout our house. I cannot even remember how many phone calls I had to make to the office staff about this issue. Several technicians had come out trying to solve the problem and yet our unit was still not heating our house correctly. We were reaching a tipping point and were about to call a different company. After maybe the 5th appointment and 3rd technician, though, we met Warren. Warren arrived and tried to troubleshoot a problem but couldn't find one. He could see that something somewhere wasn't working though. He asked us to start from the very beginning of the issue and explain what was happening. Through our conversation, he actually listened to what was going on and was able to find the issue and repair the problem. It actually ended up being an issue from when our indoor unit was originally installed. Yet because it was outside of the labor warranty Chapman offered, we had to pay for the solution. I was infuriated. We decided we would stay with Chapman because Warren had earned our trust thoough. He continued to service our house and we were happy with his expertise. When I recently called to schedule our maintenance appointment and learned that Warren has left the company as well, we are moving to a different service provider. Without Warren, I just don't feel confident in the service they offer.
