The process here is so antiquated and sad. I took some Eileen Fisher pants and Olivia & Alice jeans in and she wanted them but proceeded to tell me that I wouldn’t make any money because I have to pay $10 to have a check mailed to me once they sell. It’s 2026. You should not be charging $10 to have a check mailed. The whole concept of reselling is to make it easy for your sellers and customers. This process needs to grow with your business.It would behoove you to offer other types of payment policies to stay current in our climate (your staff did not mention any). Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit; wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad.

I love this store! Every time I go in I score the most amazing pieces! I bought some Alia shoes normally $1200 for $40 on sale and two Zimmerman blouses for $75 each! Score! Plus everyone who works there is super nice and helpful.

I’ve been shopping at this upscale consignment store for well over a decade and have consistently had great experiences. I’ve found incredible pieces—Christian Dior and Lanvin in my size (10–12), some still with the tags on. High-end handbags are locked up for a reason; snatch-and-grab theft happens everywhere. Just walk into a Bath & Body Works and you’ll see the same precautions. As for claims of discrimination, I’ve personally never witnessed anyone being treated poorly. This is an upscale consignment store, and like Neiman Marcus or Saks, the staff generally give shoppers space and respect while they browse. If you need help, you can always ask. If an associate is busy, a little patience goes a long way. Different stores have different expectations and atmospheres. This one prioritizes a calm, high-end shopping experience, and that won’t appeal to everyone—but that doesn’t make it discriminatory. If this level of service isn’t your proverbial cup of tea, there’s always the classic thrift store.
