The experience with my specific controller was pretty good, although I am not confident in her expertise as an accountant. I was hoping to receive a little more insight into my books, but this was purely my expectation. I rate 3 stars because the team made the transition to a new tax/accounting team difficult. I really don't like to do negative reviews on businesses but I feel that this was just a wrong gesture. There was some work that needed to be done accounting-wise prior to the transfer date that hadn't been done which is the first problem. My controller basically did the bare minimum not even fulfilling expectation once she knew I was leaving. I was told that moving forward after the date, if I agreed to authorize my team to get on a phone call to assist with any transfer of quickbooks or accounting, they would honor that at their hourly rate. That's ok, but after I did request this I was turned away and said that they do not have access to my file anymore despite being within a 10 day window of the transfer date. Overall I felt very neglected during the last month of my accounting and felt this was inappropriate since I did not initially have a bad experience with them -- just found the identical service at half the cost. I hope that the next person doesn't experience this. As for Complete controller, they were adequate as a bookkeeping team plus they initially provided me a lot of attention and went out of their way to schedule meetings with me with my busy schedule.
