The candlelit concert was amazing. The musicians were some of the best I’ve ever heard and they did a spectacular job. I will definitely be attending another candlelit concert. However, I will note how uncomfortable the seating was in the Corinthian Grand Ballroom. It felt like the audience was packed in like sardines. I was touching arms and legs with my neighbor who was a complete stranger. I was very stiff and sore afterwards because of how squished I felt. Please space the chairs out more and consider getting more comfortable seating options. My husband and I left happy with the music but very unhappy with how uncomfortable we were during the concert.

The Corinthian Grand Ballroom is a beautiful venue in the heart of San Jose. Classy, elegant, and rustic all at once, with a spacious layout that’s perfect for large events. The room has great character, the flow works really well for guests, and the overall atmosphere feels upscale and welcoming. As a DJ, I really appreciated how the space comes together—it looks great, sounds great, and creates an amazing energy for events.

I really enjoyed the concert! May I make some suggestions? We were 3/4 to rear of auditorium. We could not hear anything said through the PA system! The house PA was not sufficient. For a venue of that size, the music should be “Amplified!” I’m not saying 105dB rock show. From half to rear of the theater would have nice to be a little louder. Being a “Dance Studio” owner’s husband, bring my own sound system to rental theaters for performances, playing a lot of classical Ballet music, I kinda know what sounds nice. I checked the level on my phone. 75/77dB. Mid 80s dB would be better. If possible I would help with this.

Beautiful building, and it wel preserved. We went there for the Ghibli Candlelight concert, and it was magical due to how they executed the decor in the interior. The only problem i had was the stage itself. It was hard to watch the concert since the seating arrangement had the same height instead of having the stage being higher so everyone could see the performers.

I had the unique opportunity to not only shoot my short film here but also hosted a private screening at this iconic venue. Everything from management, to staff, to the amenities were on point. The team was helpful and quick to respond to any questions I had. I appreciated all of their accommodations to make sure my production and screening ran smoothly. I would absolutely work with the team again and hope to do so in the future! 10/10 recommend. Thank you for making my dreams come true!
