Very disappointing customer service with Crate & Barrel overall. My husband gifted me the Range dinnerware set from here, and within 2 months one dish spontaneously cracked and another few had gray scratches in them with regular fork and butterknife use. Terrible quality dinnerware, especially considering my last set lasted me 20 years because I know how to take care of things. C&B did absolutely nothing to rectify the issue, despite calling multiple times and speaking with supervisor after supervisor over the course of 2 weeks. They have a terribly restrictive 30-day return policy and can make no exceptions (although I was asking at 60 days), even when the quality of their materials suck. Buyer beware! Don’t buy dishes unless you want to continually replace them every 2 months. I will never buy houseware from here again. Edited to add: I accepted replacement plates for the ones that were broken and scratched, and even one of those arrived with a huge chip in it! Ridiculous!

5 stars for designer Jessie! We came in to furnish our new living room and she was so helpful and patient with us while we made decisions. Never felt rushed or pressured even when it was the end of her shift. We cannot recommend her services enough! She is the best!

Your cashier, Jan, treated me much differently than the white customer before me. She was making small talk with her, smiled at her, asked her if she wanted to donate, and told her happy holidays. When she got to me, I just got a quick check out- barely anything said to me. I had to quickly get a few bowls because a couple of mine broke this morning and this particular C&B is what’s closest. However, I’ll be finding alternatives since your employees like to act differently; I am not sure if it’s racism or just the fact that I was not purchasing much. Either way, her demeanor changed drastically with me.

SHOUTOUT TO JOSIAH! I came in with a bunch of questions about bedding as I’m living in a total bachelor pad and needed a sophisticated upgrade (that my girlfriend wouldn’t hate). Josiah was so friendly and helpful, and even helped me brainstorm a couple different configurations to maximize comfort and breath-ability during the hot summer months. Downstairs, when I looked at the coffee machines, another generous lady poured me a shot of espresso and another gentlemen helped me search up some products to see if they were in stock. Rarely do I come across such genuine and kind retail staff. Thanks again!
