I cannot say enough good about Tim Love and Cross Country RV Solutions. Our skylights developed a leak just a year or so after a DFW firm repaired and replaced them. Tim did a remarkable job installing a fantastic upgrade and cleaning up some prior errors from the other company. Recently visited Tim at his new location to have a couple Maxim skylights and Airlock One’s installed in our 2024 Pottery Barn. While dropping off, Tim did a walk around and found my NoLox door latch was loose. Seems the incorrect rivets were used when installed and they worked themselves out. Tim took care of this and installed a couple stainless steel rivets providing the necessary strength to prevent future issues. Can’t be more pleased with the quality of work, service, and his overall knowledge shared. As a new airstream owner, his information was very valuable. He also cleaned up the mess of wires in the A/C returns creating better airflow allowing the units to operate more optimized. Greatly appreciate his focus on the details.

Once again, Tim to the rescue! I had two issues with my Classic. 1) DC electric not working During a recent trip, the electrical system would not work at all if we were off shore power. The Victron SmartShunt showed 100% SOC on the batteries, the converter and the inverter were both recently replaced, and no circuits were tripped. I checked the two inline fuses in the battery box. Chasing an electrical issue can be time consuming. But Tim quickly found the issue … there were actually two more fuses, a 100amp and a 50amp, in the battery box that I had not noticed, and both were blown. He upgraded the fuse block and got me up and running on battery power again. 2) Bed actuator out of alignment. Last summer, our bed got stuck in the up position. Dau Songpanya helped me take the actuator apart so we could get the bed back flat. But now it was time to fix it. Tim determined that the Brooklyn Bedding mattress, coupled with 150lb gas struts I installed, were too heavy for the bed actuator. We replaced the struts with shorter, 65lb units, and I’m replacing the mattress with one designed for an Airstream (and actually more comfortable). Tim fixed a bent support bar on the bed actuator. While it was in the shop, Tim also serviced the Alde. It had not been flushed since the trailer was new in 2020. There were clear signs of rust in the system. This timely service probably saved me a $7,000 Alde replacement down the road. I always learn more about the proper care and feeding of my Airstream when it’s in Tim’s capable hands. We are now set for a great season of camping this year.
