Great selection and quality. Knowledgeable staff. Much larger plants than you’ll find at a big box store. Priced well. Grab a map the first time you go— the site is large. They’re also active on social media. Worth a drive.

Helpful workers, nice selection of oak trees I was looking for. I’m assuming the owner helped me out with a 2 person job loading a tree. He also gave valuable advice on how to get the best results and keep the tree alive over the next 1-2 years.

Dabney’s Nursery is a great 5 Star place to get plants. Prices are good and the selections are good. However, do not use the subcontractors there without checking them out thoroughly. I purchased 30 Encore Azaleas earlier this spring. I used one of the guys that hangs around there, possibly works there, that had a truck, trailer, and a couple of guys. He insisted, to deliver the plants he would put them in the ground (for $200 more). When he started putting them in the ground, he did not tickle the roots or cut the roots. He just stuck the plant in the ground, I objected but he insisted that that’s the way they do it and have had no problems, I should’ve known better and stopped him. I now have maybe 15 plants left. These have become the most expensive bushes I have ever bought. I will never let them install a plant again.
