Marina from Ballroom is amazing! She is so knowledgeable and patient and very very supportive. She checks on you always and goes over things again if you didn’t understand something. Can’t wait for my next practice. 😁

Dance Base offers diverse dance classes, excellent dance teachers, and great studios in a central location. You can also get a student discount if you book a class for the whole term. They also offer drop-in classes if you don’t want to overcommit. Staff at the desk are all super polite and kind – they even let me stretch outside the studio at no extra charge.

Would have given 0 stars but here we are Shouldn't have the "ballet basics" open for people to come in always through the term. Obviously this course is not friendly to actual beginners unless you are there from Literally day 1. Instructor races through the moves without showing newcomers properly how to first and then tells everyone to "not let mistakes show on their face" when she's raced 5 steps ahead and you're barely catching up. I'd ask for a refund if I Actually thought they'd give me one. So disappointed you'd think a class on the basics would Actually be beginner friendly the whole way through if anyone can join halfway along. Bloody disgraceful, will be making sure to tell anyone interested in dance to avoid this place like the Plague! ❌❌❌❌

I felt welcomed, as did my husband Craig. I was put at ease immediately by being reassured that I would be able to participate in the group activities at my own level of comfort.. We were both approached by both staff and volunteers, ready to welcome us and invite us to join in. Having problems with quiet speech as a result of Parkinson's, I was delighted to be told that the option to sing was also on offer. i was delighted to hear that! I found the humour that prevailed throughout the class so very refreshing and the whole experience was uplifting .I also found that the accompanying music was both excellent and spontaneous. I will wholeheartedly recommend the class to others

Such a lovely building in an incredible location. They’re located in grass market and you can see a castle right in front. The studios have good size and the floor is brilliant for dancing. Studio 4 has got a lovely view with balcony. I wish London had a same building...!
