I have always loved to move to music and decided it was time to learn how to dance. The moment I walked into DWM Soho I could feel the wonderful energy. I am 11 months into my dance journey and feel so grateful to have found this studio. The dance teachers are not only fantastic instructors but stunning dancer's. And I always walk in to smiles on the faces at the front desk. I have met so many wonderful people on their own journey and am now a part of a loving, supportive community. The best (and totally unexpected) part is that as I am learning different types of social dancing my body has become stronger, my mind sharper and my balance better. I am in the best shape of my life. I sure do love EVERYTHING about DWM and dancing !!

I love every time I come here. I first started with a couple group classes just to check it out and with the goal of not be embarrassingly bad at dancing. I eventually saw the gaps and realized to improve even faster, I needed a private lessons. I bought the package which includes private, group classes, and parties which they do 1-2x a month. I like that the private is more of a set your own schedule and with whichever instructor you want instead of having to come for their group class, just remember to cancel if needed 24 hours in advance. All the instructors were excellent. I learned a lot from Courtney and Valencia, but Adam also gives advice that your instructor might miss which was something I truly appreciated. Now after a couple of group class and 16 private classes, I can confidently dance with anyone. I still have lots of things to learn but at least I don’t suck now. I was initially very stiff but that’s due to a couple of issues corrected by coming to the private lessons. Now my hips moves and can pull various social or rhythm dances which I never thought was possible! Thank you DWM SOHO
