Coach Arianna is an awesome instructor! She is dedicated to teaching her students the discipline and fundamentals needed for Brazilian Jui Jitsu. My son has been coming for almost a year now. I have seen his growth tremendously! Thanks, Arianna!

Love this place, and I am especially grateful for all of the people that make it what it is. The gym is lead by excellent, passionate, and committed coaches and is home to upper belts who really love the sport and who are also some of the kindest and most encouraging people I know. Over the last two years I've been going here, I've had the opportunity to really grow not just as an athlete but as a person. If you're looking for a place where people are really genuinely rooting for you, then look no further, you've found it here at Dark Horse.

Been here for 6 years. I love this place. It has made me. The room is full of people invested in your success. Everyone gives their know-how away freely and willingly. No hardos, no toxic culture. Incredibly welcoming to all- gi, no gi, serious competitors, and hobbyists. Great sense of humor. Professor Dude and Coebra are a wealth of knowledge. Coach Phil keeps that place running and clean. Shower there too is great for morning commutes.

I’ve been training at Dark Horse for around 6 months now, and it’s been an amazing and positive experience! No surprise that Dark Horse has so many 5-star reviews. Everyone is positive, welcoming, takes their training seriously and strives to grow, but also keeps it fun. I’ve made some great friends here already and there’s a definite sense of community. The coaches, especially Coach Phill who leads a lot of the beginner classes, makes it welcoming for newbies while also challenging you to improve daily. Facility is clean - has showers and changing rooms. Occasionally parking can be sparse, but you can always find street parking nearby. Lots of classes to choose from daily, no egos - the higher belts are welcoming to lower belts and willing to train with them and help them learn and improve. Can’t recommend it enough! Come by and see for yourself!

Stopped in for the advanced class while on business and was instantly made welcome -- everyone was great to train with! Space: They recently got a new space and it's great - clean, well-maintained, with individual(!!) changing rooms and a shower. Instruction: Incredible - the organization of the different techniques taught made it easy to understand and open the mind to different options and concepts. Also since it was a smaller class size, professor was able to come around multiple times to give details. All in all, fantastic place!
