Where do I begin- Diem Angie was, first of all, one of my most seamless and easy vendors I worked with both before and on my wedding day. Special shout out to Nicole for making my make up look incredible, she really listened to what I wanted and as a girlie with freckles it’s hard for me to find a make up artist that knows how to accentuate my freckles without bleaching out my face or making me look orange. Including Nicole the other ladies were professional, fun, timely, and extremely talented. One bridesmaid told me she liked her look better at my wedding than her own wedding! I also appreciated how each artist knew how to work with textured, thick, thin, and curly hair and different skin tones, this was a very important factor to me and what attracted me to Diem Angie in the first place- their portfolio shows a range of skills. 2 of my bridesmaids did the Hollywood curls and *wow* they looked SO good. I was alerted of a wedding blunder while Nicole was doing my make up (our wedding cake had been thrown out). I took a deep breath and looked straight at Nicole and said “well at least I know I can count on my make up being excellent today even if we lost the cake.” Thank you Diem Angie! Nikki did my wedding day makeup, including my mom’s. From the minute I met her, I knew she’d be amazing. Not only is her work beautiful, Nikki is also a great person to get to know. For both my trial and wedding day, she was very easy to talk to, kind, and had a calming nature (which is essential for such a big day). Nikki listened to my normal makeup routine, making sure I still felt like myself. I had one switch up the day of, which was using my holy grail foundation instead of the one we used during the trial, and she was so accommodating and understanding. My makeup lasted the full 15+ hour day and still looked beautiful by the end of the night. As for my mom, she wanted to look as natural as possible with a hint of glam. Nikki was so patient with my mom and executed flawlessly. My mom still talks about the glam to this day! We are so grateful for Diem Angie for all of their help for this day!

Diem did my hair and makeup for my Engagement Party / Tea Ceremony earlier this month and I was so happy how everything turned out. I got married in Hales Corners, Wisconsin, and they were able to accommodate us easily because they have talented artists in the area. From start to finish, the experience was seamless, professional, and genuinely enjoyable. Melissa and Anna were absolutely wonderful — so personable, easy to talk to, and they made me feel completely comfortable. During my trial, they really listened to what I wanted, and I walked away feeling excited and confident for my wedding day. I was a little nervous because I don’t usually wear much makeup (just eyeliner!) and I’ve been in other weddings where “natural” makeup still felt heavy or overdone. But I asked for soft glam — and they absolutely nailed it. My entire bridal party also requested soft glam, and every single one of us looked and felt beautiful. My mom, who has some thinning at the front of her hairline, was treated with so much care — Melissa took the time to style her hair in a way that covered her balding spots beautifully. As a curly-haired bride, I was so grateful for how skillfully Melissa worked with my curls — she styled them perfectly without flattening or frizzing them.
