My new apartment had a kitchen faucet with no water pressure. It could take upwards of 5mins to fill a pot of water. After enough time I finally decided to address this issue by contacting Discount Plumbing - and I couldn’t be happier with that decision. They assigned Tony to my job and he was friendly, timely, and highly professional. He quickly fixed my faucet and replaced the angle stops below. Top notch customer service! This is my second time calling Discount Plumbing Rooter Service their communication was impeccable. They gave me a 2 hour window and kept me informed during the time frame of the technicians arrival. They also sent a text with the technician's picture and information prior arriving. Turns out it was a very simple fix to my garbage disposal so they didnt actually charge me and chalked it up to retaining a returning customer. Well they certainly have done that I will be using them again for sure. The technician Simon was very quick to diagnose and fix the issue, he came prepared and was super helpful even taking time to teach me how to troubleshoot and use the simple fix he used in case it happened again. I had a leaking pipe under the sink that required cutting the pipe and soldering in a new section. The technician, Mike, was very knowledgeable and completed the repair quickly. The location was difficult to access and even required cutting a bit of the cabinet, but he still finished everything within an hour - truly a professional. On the downside, some basic soldering parts weren't available and had to be substituted, and the torch he used seemed worn out and in need of an upgrade. I would have given 5 stars, but the price ($600) felt a bit high for a one-hour job, even in one of the most expensive areas of the Bay. I know that people around here pay $700 for something as simple as replacing a showerhead, which makes it hard to argue for what I believe would be a fair price (around $300 for this type of work). Still, it was an urgent situation, and overall I'm satisfied with the service.
