There are lots of people who can walk a dog. Someone who understands your dog and cares about your family member as much as you do is exceptional. Melinda at Dog Wild Adventures is that exceptional person. Melinda cared for Cherry and improved her quality of life for over six years. I trust Melinda completely.

Melinda has been walking my dogs for over 10 years now. She has also boarded my dogs many times in the past. Melinda is reliable, trustworthy and I can easily say that I never worry about my dogs when she is taking care of them - which is saying a lot! She offers a great service with picking up the dogs from my house in the morning (almost every week day) and taking them to the dog park for exercise and socialization. Melinda is very friendly and available for walks/boarding 99.9% of the time. Of note, one of my dogs was diagnosed with glaucoma a few years ago and she is very good at giving him his eye drops. I have recommended Melinda to friends/co-workers many times over and will continue to do so!

I cannot speak highly enough about Melinda and her services! We got referred to Melinda by a friend in the neighbourhood when we got our puppy Charlie. Three years later, we are still using Melinda on a regular basis for walks and boarding. I trust Melinda implicitly with Charlie and from the way Charlie scrambles to the door when she sees her car pull up to the way she sleeps for the rest of the day after a walk, I know Charlie loves her time with Melinda and crew.

Melinda is an amazing person! I would never trust the care of my dog to any other dog walker! Sadie and I met her by chance in the dog park one day several years ago and I couldn't walk too long back then so we arranged a time for Sadie to get introduced to Melinda's pack and she graciously allowed me to walk with all of them so I could see for myself just what a wonderful "family" they all were together. There was absolutely no doubt in my mind just what a godsend Melinda was to me! She knows SO MUCH about dogs and can tell if something might be out of place just by watching them closely and will act accordingly if one of her dogs needs attention - she keeps a doggie first aid kit in her vehicle - she is always prepared! Sadie has been gone for 19 months now, but Melinda still keeps in touch and will occasionally bring her two beautiful dogs to me for a cuddle and I love her for it. If you want your dog to be loved as much as you love them, then Melinda is your girl. Sadie loved her so much and would absolutely dance when I said "are you going with Melinda today?" Melinda is a true GEM!! xoxo

Melinda was referred to me by my boyfriend who had been using Melinda's dog walking and boarding services for 8 years. He described Melinda as a trustworthy intelligent woman with an innate ability to connect with dogs. He was right. At the time Bella was a high energy and easily distracted 10 month old Bernadoodle. After several gradual introductions Bella became part of Melinda's pack and would wait eagerly every morning for Melinda’s jeep to pull up in front of the house. Since my boyfriend and I have lived together Melinda has walked and boarded both of our dogs on her acreage on a regular basis. We recently moved to Bragg Creek and no longer need Melinda’s walking services however she is our first choice for dog boarding even if it means driving 3.5 hours to drop the dogs off. Both of our dogs still know her name and get very excited when we say that “Melinda is coming”. I have had several dog walkers in the past and have boarded my dogs at various kennels.
