Today was my first time at dry bar and I will never return. My friend and I wanted to get blowouts as we have plans this weekend that we wanted to look good for. We wanted to book together, but were unable to online. We walked in-person and spoke with Mary, who I believe is the manager. We expressed we wanted blowouts and wanted to come at the same time. She said she couldn’t do a wash and blowout for both of us, but we could each receive a dry-style at 10:15. Sure! Sounded great. She was a little snippy with us but it was mid-day and they were busy. Figured she was stressed. No problem, it happens. We hadn’t looked online at what a dry style included, which was on us completely. However, as a professional, we wished Mary had explained that a dry style didn’t mean a blowout and only meant a curled/straightened style. We came for our appointments at 10:15 this morning and checked in and were seen right away. Our stylists, whose names I didn’t get, were fabulous. They were the ones who told a dry-style wasn’t a blowout. My friend and I politely decided to leave the appointment as we didn’t want to pay to have our hair curled. Our stylists completely understood and said this misunderstanding happens often. We left the salon, and went on our way, bummed. My friend realized she had her card on file and she didn’t want to be charged. We turned around and went back to the salon to speak to the receptionist. As we walked in, so did Mary. She met us at the counter. We calmly explained what had happened, we weren’t at all upset because 1) we didn’t look online to see what a dry style meant and should have, and 2) we could easily go home and do our own hair, no big deal. Mary didn’t let us finish explaining what had happened before she rolled her eyes and said, “I made it very clear the difference between a dry style and a blowout. You knew”, while shaking her head. A little confused, my friend said “It just wasn’t made clear to us which is why we didn’t stay for the appointment, but it’s all good, I just want to make sure my card isn’t charged”. Mary, again, rolled her eyes and said “it’s day of. Card will be charged”. Not once did she look up, make direct eye contact with us, or even simply apologize for the misunderstanding on both of our parts. She insisted she was going to charge us, to which we asked if we could still sit for a dry style. If we’re being charged, we might as well receive the service. Mary went and checked with our lovely stylists who graciously still saw us. Mary scoffed and walked away. I am floored at the lack of professionalism from who seems to be the store owner or manager. I was warned about this location and how rude the management could be, and I should have listened. I hope she doesn’t treat her employees the same way she treats her customers. I wish the best for their team and hope Mary can use this as a learning experience at her grown age.

This place is sweet! I had never heard of this concept (we don’t have one where I am from in Canada). Was recommended to me by an esthetician at my spa day yesterday. Brilliant recommendation! Loved the location. Staff were so friendly! Was quick and appt on time. Loved it all!

Avoid this place !!!!!!!Not highly recommend. It’s like I took a shower and I did it for myself. Plus, I’ve been paid with tip even that I I didn’t was happy! One week after I’m open my bank statement and I’m seeing that they’ve been charged me three times not showing fee!!!! For 10 minutes late!!! Nobody in the front desk was telling me that I’m going to receive this Charges! She told me you can walk in and your friend will need to wait 20 minutes for her appointment! Then when I’m calling them, the guy in the phone tell me because you miss your appointment we Ben canceled your first one and make you a new one And then this is the reason that you receive three times(Even not twice, yes?) None showing fee!!!64$ Double 3 times!!!! Lucky that I paid with my MX and I charge back! Scam!!!!!!!!!!!

Bought a prepaid blowout package and was told it expired 12 days earlier — no credit for what I paid, no flexibility. Had to pay full price for a service I already paid for. Emailed the manager Kamellah and never received a response. These drybars are franchised apparently and this owner does not run an honest business.

Not worth it:/ I got the glass add on and it made absolutely zero difference. Guess that’s what I get for a last min book! Absolutely not worth it.
