I’ve been a regular customer here for a while and have always enjoyed the food, which is why this experience was disappointing. I ordered the portobello mushroom burger, which the menu describes as “marinated portobello mushroom, mayo, grilled onions, shredded lettuce, and tomato.” There is no indication that this item contains no patty or meat, nor does it say vegetarian or meatless. Based on the wording and the use of the word “burger,” I reasonably assumed there would be a patty included. When I got home and realized it was only a mushroom (uneaten), I returned immediately to ask for an exchange or refund. Both the employee and later management refused, stating refunds are only given if the restaurant makes a mistake. I explained the menu was unclear and that I was dissatisfied, but no accommodation was offered other than 10% off a future order. There is no written refund/exchange policy anywhere. I wasn’t concerned about the money — I was hungry and just wanted a reasonable solution. As a regular customer who has recommended this place to others, I expected better communication and customer service. Unfortunately, this experience made me reconsider supporting this business moving forward. If you care about great service and loyalty from a small business as a customer, I do not recommend.

Let me first start off by saying Maggie is the bomb.com, I wasn’t able to successfully order my food online I called in and Maggie assisted me twice. She’s amazing and the food is really good. I had the Cobb salad. It was grilled very fresh and I added ranch with mine. The onion rings are handmade dipped in house batter so good. Definitely recommend for the onion ring lovers. The blue cheeseburger was delicious. Thanks again!!!

People of Fort Worth/ TCU area, imma need yall to start acting right and hit up the BEST burger joint on this planet. This place is better than Whataburger, Jakes, In-n-Out, any possible place you can think of, this place is better. The buns 100/10, and the staff 1000/10. I’ve never had a burger anywhere as good as Dutch’s and I drive 1hr 1/2 to come eat here. Please don’t let this place close down because it definitely deserves to be busier than it is. If you don’t know about it..this is your sign to go!!

Burgers hit the spot after the TCU game! The burgers were juicy, full of flavor, large and the toppings and buns were delicious! Fries were great too. We also had 2 chocolate chip cookies and the family loved them! This could easily become a regular stop after games!

Dutch’s makes the most delicious burger in Fort Worth. This isn’t up for debate or critique. Over the past 5 years, I've scoured the city for the best burger, and guess what? It was right there waiting patiently for me right here at the corner of Berry and University. TCU students have no idea they're sitting on a goldmine of flavor. The buns are sweet and made in-house, like a the real bread of heaven. You can order your meat any way you want it—medium rare is my go-to. Every bite provides a spiritual revelation. Your taste buds will never be the same. Do yourself a fLavor and order the onion rings, sweet potato fries, and a milkshake. I swear, it feels like Jesus is back there in the kitchen, and I'm not talking about the guy married to Lupita. Dip your fries in the blue cheese dressing, and you'll transcend to a new plane of bliss.
