My experience with ordering some chairs online was really easy and hassle free. I received lots of updates and the chairs were ready to be picked up within a reasonable timeframe. My only suggestion would be to include specific directions about where to collect the furniture from in your communications because I had to call up to ask for this information. I want to make a special mention to Darcy who was extremely friendly and helpful over the phone with providing directions to the pick up location, and when he met us out the back on arrival he was an absolute delight! Thank you Darcy, 5 stars for you!

Delivery procedure continues to work for the company NOT the customer. Scroll through reviews over many years and a number of complaints relate to lack of transparency regarding orders and delivery. For obvious reasons, there appears to be little incentive to actually rectify this ongoing issue. Emails apologising and "appreciating feedback" are simply annoying and knowingly ineffective. As per earlier reviews, buyer beware - if they don't have it in stock, consider buying elsewhere!! In my direct experience, agreeing to a delivery timeframe at the point of purchase doesn't hold. You'll receive the item when convenient for the company and it's schedule. Better to source a substitute rather than wait for an order through Early Settler. ....... EDIT FOLLOWING BUSINESS RESPONSE: This has been an ongoing issue over many years. Repeated apologies are not sufficient unless improvements are actioned. Will not be purchasing from Early Settler in future as a result. Change your processes.

Customer Service is appalling. They are more interested in talking to their colleagues about the weekend than their customers. When you ask them a question, it's as if you interrupted their weekend conversation and it's all too much effort to talk. They don't want to serve you, they don't want to give advice, its' all too much effort no matter what day you go. They even have a dislike for you if you visit too many times, making it uncomfortable to visit. Its a shame, as they do have some nice pieces.

After checking out the item in store I actually had most service interaction with staff when I called a few days later to order the 6 chairs. The first guy was great... in training apparently but his desire to meet my needs was outstanding. His supervisor who took over to do the payment was also exceptional. Friendly, efficient and concerned about getting it all correct.
