I started taking my dogs to Emerald after the Vet practice I was using closed (retired Vets). Around that time, my Iggy started having health issues. I had him in to see the Vet just about every week & sometimes more often than that. They were always willing to make time to see him, most often on the same day I called. They always responded quickly when his prescriptions needed to be renewed and would spend time offering advice on how to manage his medication (he was a stinker about taking it). Sadly, Iggy had to be helped to cross over the rainbow 🌈 in April, 2025. He was 17 years old. Almost a year later, I still get teary eyed when I think about him. Emerald handled that process with compassion and kindness. They’ve been wonderful.

I’ve been going here for three years to this vet and this was my most uncomfortable experience. I didn't appreciate dr. Lindsey talking about my cat behind closed doors like I couldn't hear her. Yes you had one bad experience with my six pound cat three yrs ago, it was my first time there along with my cat and she separated us. My sister is the one who sent me here and she’s always been in the room with her cat. When she performed the shots the first time I wasn’t in the room three years ago and with this dr it’s been a problem ever since. Right when she opened the door to see us she visibly looked like she didn’t want to deal with us, making my cat out to be a villain. She did want me to put her to sleep previously and I said no, but it’s just the fact I’m hearing her talk about my cat. I was there 2 months ago and the fill in Dr was so sweet and conducted my cat's shot with ease says a lot. Not only did I hear you throw a fit that you weren't going to do the shot yourself which its ok, but this ultimately made your young vet techs nervous when they came in and half the medicine ended up on her fur because they rushed in to do it, not their fault as I blamed the Dr. I’ve had wonderful experiences with everyone, but this woman. Im not coming back so I don't need follow up questions. Next time just be more professional.
