The food and service was just amazing!!! We ordered falafel and rice salad and pomegranate juice. Everything was freshly made and delicious. Highly recommend this place! The owner was very kind and nice!

Falafels are incredible here! I rarely leave reviews but this place is amazing. Billy, the owner, has developed his own twists on falafels, hummus, and more, and the resulting flavors are outstanding! He clearly knows and cares a lot about the food he's making, and you can taste that in what he makes, from the falafels to the baklava. I loved the variety on the menu too, a lot of options that you don't normally see (including the cascara tea), and I plan to be back to try more! Besides the food, I came out of the restaurant with a smile on my face after chatting with Billy - this the kind of place where you'll feel welcomed and at home, a place you want to return to. I heard about the restaurant because someone raved about it to me, and now I plan to rave about it to others!

The food is some of the best middle eastern cuisine I have had. The tea is also amazing. I felt like I was a host at a friend’s home. I sampled the falafel, had fresh hummus, salad and Yemeni style chicken breast. Billy is a wonderful host and he takes great pride in his product and service. I HIGHLY recommend visiting Falafelland for fantastic food. Falafelland is like an oasis for any traveler who wants great cuisine and conversation (if you want).

The food was overall great. I got the falafel salad. The falafel balls are among the best I’ve had in the Bay Area. Also tried the “bird’s nest” pastry that had a generous amount of pistachios — tasty and not too sweet. Although the restaurant doesn’t advertise itself as Yemeni, as someone with Yemeni heritage, I can attest that their tea is as authentic as can be, much better and much more true to Yemeni tastes compared to the many so-called “Yemeni cafes” that have been popping up around the city lately. I would come back just for the tea!
