Pete from Family Heirloom Furniture Restoration did a fantastic job on my inherited cedar chest. It turned out beautiful! He was professional and easy to work with. I will have him do any future projects I may have.

We brought Pete an Acme Red Cedar Chests Company chest that was beaten up by 120 years of use and a very foolish effort as using it as a chair. In a few short weeks, Pete returned us a beautiful piece of furniture, fully repaired and reconditioned, while still displaying all the years of love in this treasured heirloom. We are vey pleased.

I brought my Old Hickory chair in to be recained, I included a a picture of what the chair looked like when it was originally made in 1940. Pete at Family Heirloom Furniture Restoration assured me he could restore it back to its original beauty. I am beyond pleased with the quality of his restoration of my chair. I highly recommend Pete and his business, if you are looking for quality workmanship & reasonable rates, Family heirloom Furniture restoration is the business to contact.

We bought our oak dining set when we first got married, hoping it would be our “forever” set. After 30+ years - through every family meal, birthday, and holiday celebration - the chairs started to wear out yet we didn’t want to replace something so meaningful. Thanks to Pete’s craftsmanship at Family Heirloom Furniture Restoration, the chairs look like new again. He restored them with such care that now we'll be able to share more family memories around this table. It’s refreshing to find someone who values restoration over replacement. We highly recommend Pete — a rare, passionate, and talented furniture restoration expert, and a genuinely great person to work with.

I have 30 year old oak farm house table that needing the top refinished. After calling several places I gave the job to Peter at Family Heirloom Restoration. I liked him the first time we met. He gave me a honest price, I saw some of his work and he told me how long it would take As time went on he gave me periodic updates with photos. I picked my table up today and all I can saw is I am very happy with the work he did. The stain matched perfectly and the protective coat was beautiful. It looked better than new. I have a critical eye and am unable to find any imperfections. If gave Peter 5 stars which is the maxium. I would give him 10 stars if I could. If you need any restoration work see him. You will not be sorry. Thanks again Peter you did an excellent job!!!!!

I bought a unique piece of furniture that was in rough shape. I knew it would be too difficult for me to restore properly. I found Pete online and contacted him. He was prompt in his response and very straightforward in expectations. In a little over a month the piece was finished. It was exactly what I wanted. The finish is perfect! He went above and beyond by repairing a broken part that we had discussed not repairing. He also took care to clean up the original handles. But, that’s what is unique about him. He truly wants to bring your piece back to life, something you will treasure and use. He is a gem.
