Ruben, Thank you for responding to my review so impartially. We have met, and every time has been a really pleasant experience, in my opinion. I always come in so excited, and have never shown any employee anything but kindness, patience and respect. I was actually having a really great day when I basically floated in right after the store opened. Please do review the video if you see fit. I hope you have audio as well. If so, you will see that I had a ring picked out and asked them to please stick it back while I browsed the rest of the store. You will see me head directly to the back of the store and tell my husband with tears in my eyes that I felt like I was being treated like a theif, and I was uncomfortable and felt unwelcome. You will then see me kindly tell the young ladies behind the counter that we actually decided not to purchase the ring, thanked them for their time, and wished them a good day. It may seem silly, but Fans & Stoves had literally been my favorite place, for years. Every birthday, anniversary, every just because, my husband brought me to Fans & Stoves for a new treasure. I wasn't asking you to do an investigation, I just wanted to share the way the way I was treated today in your store. Its not a debate, or open to CCTV review. The way I was made to feel is sad and unacceptable. I wish you and the store all the best. I have spent thousands of dollars in this store over several years. I've continued to buy antique jewelry from here because of their great collection of baby rings. Ive met the owners several times and honestly can not say enough kind things about them. This morning (11/18) I came in looking for jewelry excited to add to the countless pieces I've purchased from this and their former location. The ladies in the front acted like I was going to steal jewelry while I was trying it on. This is the second time the older brunette woman has made me feel uncomfortable while looking at jewelry. I have tattoos but am wearing thousands of dollars in jewelry I bought HERE, with my money, and to be made to feel so uncomfortable while trying to give someone my money is wild. Ive had so many great experiences here, but unfortunately this is the last time I take a chance on who's working. Instead of being treated like some kind of theif, I ended up at the pawn shop right down the road and dropped $2,300 on some gorgeous vintage pieces. This place is a treasure, but unfortunately a few judgey rude ladies ruined it for me.

Decided to stop by here during our weekend antiquing while visiting our son at Mayport Naval Base. They do have parking on the grass inside the gate of the church in which they reside. We were greeted upon entry and thanked for stopping by upon leaving. The place is not as big as what we are used to and does have a varying collection of items; however, a lot of the booths were a tight fit and hard to see everything they had to offer. Unfortunately, we did not find that had to have item and due to the size, we probably will not be returning due to the distance from our home. I do recommend you stop by and take a look, as our taste may be different than yours.
