Excellent Store. Local and family owned. I bought here before. Got a couple of things here in the fall and very happy. Had an issue and West took care of it. He is really nice and all of his staff. Guys out back loading do a great job.

VERY VERY disappointed. I bought 4 trees at the 1/2 price sale about a week ago. They were delivered at 9 am yesterday. The root ball of the red bud appeared dry and leaves a little wilted. They were all in the ground by 11 am then watered. Today, the redbud leaves are wilted and crispy. Called the store and was told they would do nothing because I bought half price. They did not care for my tree while awaiting delivery. I just wasted money on a tree I had waited more than a year to get.. Money wins. Poor customer service for me anyway. And to think I used to just go there to dream and plan. NEVER again. You lost me as a customer and I will share my story. Taking advantage is not right. Update. My. sister wrote a letter on my behalf and the store promised to make it right if it is dead in the spring.....so we will see. Hopefully the tree is in survival mode.

I had an medical emergency and asked to use the restroom. The attendant told me it was not a public facility. I explained to him that I needed to take a diabetes shot and he emphasized that the facility was not a public restroom. Thankfully, a Circle K convenient/gas store was right across the street and I was able to get to the restroom in time. I will absolutely not ever shop at Frank Otte Nursery again, as I was not treated as a valuable customer. They are not the only nursery in town, and I choose to avoid there products.

Excellent trees and service. Wide variety of magnolias and other flowering trees. When we started looking a man came and asked if we needed help and stayed with us until we had picked out the one we wanted. Nice and helpful fellow. Another group loaded it into the minivan (they managed to load it in good order). I did ask that one helper wear a mask since I am very high risk and he said he " was vaccinated so it was okay" but I am not fully so that was a little irritating. Otherwise would have been 5 star. Wonderful service and inventory.
