Best groomer in KW! Worth every single penny! We have zero complaints. Our guy gets groomed by the same gal and he doesn't even give us a single glance as he enters that little gate, he can't wait to get in. She does such a good job with him and she says he's like a statue with her. We barely recognize the dog we pick up, he looks amazing!

My Bentley, a Coton de Tulear, was just groomed today and as usual his groomer, Laura, did a beautiful job. Bentley looks like a show dog, ready for Westminster. I’ve had 8 dogs in my lifetime, mostly Bichons & Cotons, and while I’ve had good luck with many groomers, Laura is the best.

My GSD doesn't like people and did not go to the groomers in 8 years. Fur ever took him in had him muzzled the whole time and had him looking handsome in under 2 hours. He did great, didn't have to sit in a cage waiting and took treats afterwards without the muzzle. I will definitely be going back.

I had an extremely uncomfortable and disappointing experience here. This was my first time, after attending their open house. When I originally called to book, the manager specifically said that a groomer named Laura “dibs doing them.” I booked a full groom for both of my dogs, and we discussed doing tail colouring if my dog was comfortable (as that is the main reason I booked the groom). When I arrived for my appointment it was Laura who at the counter. I wasn’t greeted at all — no hello, no introduction. The very first thing I was asked was, “Do you have your rabies vaccines?” which I immediately provided. After that, the groomer never asked what I wanted done, didn’t review the groom, and simply gestured for me to hand my dogs over. The entire interaction felt cold and uncomfortable. One of my dogs was visibly scared and shaking. When I mentioned it, the response I received was, “Yup, it’s a grooming salon — he’s going to be scared.” There was no reassurance, empathy, or attempt to make him comfortable. When I brought up the colouring — which was the main reason I booked the groom in the first place — I was abruptly shut down and told, “I don’t have time for that today. That wasn’t booked.” This was incredibly confusing given the prior conversation during booking. As I tried to clarify the situation, I was told, “You can leave if you want.” At that point, I felt so unwelcome and uncomfortable that I did leave. Afterward, I attempted multiple times (three-4 separate occasions) to speak with the manager to understand the misinformation and hopefully resolve the situation. Each time I was told I’d get a call back. I never did. I was later told the manager was off due to surgery; I suggested she contact me when she was better, but was told she would call within the next few days instead. She never did. I was completely ghosted. Since then, I’ve heard from others that they had similar experiences of being ignored or ghosted, and that the only time they were contacted was after leaving a public review. That makes this lack of follow-up even more concerning. This experience showed a lack of communication, professionalism, empathy toward nervous dogs, and accountability. Mistakes can happen, but refusing to explain or even return a call is unacceptable — especially after such a negative first visit. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this salon based on how this situation was handled. If there are any other salons you would suggest please feel free to comment.
