I’ve done probably ~10 sessions at Melifolia for salsa and bachata. I’ve been to classes for dance all over the bay, and Melifolia is by far my favorite! It feels like an actual studio where they really teach you the dances instead of just taking you through one off sequences - but still keep it light and fun. On Mondays they split the class by beginner and intermediate - and for beginner it’s always a good mix of first-time people dropping in and some experienced people There’s fun group chats for people who go a bit regularly and want to dance elsewhere on other days of the weeks

I was very happy to find this studio in my neighborhood. The studio itself is spacious and nice. The instructors are patient and the overall atmosphere is pretty welcoming. They also offer a range of classes from Latin dance to Swing.
