Grand Cru has officially become our #1 wine shop in the city. The element of discovery is our favorite part about going because there are always new wines we’re trying and recommendations the folks there are making. They are always hosting themed wine events and promoting on their instagram so it’s also a great place to build local community.

Love this addition to the neighborhood. Grand Cru has something for everyone when it comes to wine. Need something as a gift, check! Need a nice bottle for that friend who knows everything, check! Want something to drink on a warm summer patio, or with a fancy meal, check and check! The prices are reasonable and Matt, the owner is incredibly knowledgeable and can help you pick something for any of the aforementioned scenarios. The best part is he is nice and easy going and will guide you to something great without making you feel stupid about wine. Finally they offer tastings on most Fridays and Saturdays which is super laid back and unpretentious and a fun way to try something different and learn something new. The spot is super cute and would work for date night, grabbing a glass of wine with friends, or even popping in solo for a glass of wine on the way home from work. They are also happy to do blind tastings if you are learning more about wine or looking for a fun challenge. Best part, they are dog friendly so bring your furry friend and grab a glass of wine
