This store, particularly this branch, is so special. A cultural refuge with endlessly inspiring book offerings, not to mention the super cute, locally-sourced gifts and prints. I could spend hours here. The manager Nick is someone who cares about the SF community, and it vibrates through the store!

What a stellar bookstore! Each time I go in, I easily spend well over an hour looking around and don’t really get past the front of the store because there’s so much good stuff. Amazing selections of new books, zines, classics, etc. There’s awesome stickers, pins, art, and used books as well. Easy 5 stars- my friends and family already love this store. Great idea that they sell blankets too so if you’d like to take your book to the park with a blanket, it’s a great setup.

There are plenty of books( old and new) here but not exactly a vast collection of dusty old volumes. The layout is inviting and one can flip through pages without feeling lost in endless stacks. This place definitely has personality, as there are handwritten notes that offer quirky insights. A perfect place for book lovers who enjoy extras like tote bags, bookmarks, stickers, pop art prints, and literary-themed enamel stickers.

Quaint book shop that makes you feel cozy and comfortable. I love how there are cards filled out with care and thoughtful descriptions of many titles in the store. You can tell the employees enjoy reading and it's something special to share with others. Stop in if you need a read. This place has everything.
