Went to a concert their featuring Poor Majesty. Concert was great and the Gallery had some nice art work displayed by a local artist. Had some good restaurants near by.

Its located inside the former ArtEllis supply store. It's the hottest new gallery in town Curated by Micah Crandall-Bear It's a hoot ! I went for my dear friend Photographer Jesse's Vasquez solo show. That's us in the selfie!!! Buy some local art !!!

I really like going to GroundSwell Art Gallery to see what new art and artists they will be featuring. They find artists that peek my interest and I find myself researching who they are and getting to know their backstory a little more. I've even made a purchase from them and it was a smooth and easy process. The gallery owners are friendly, knowledgeable and I'm happy to visit... especially on Second Saturday's. It's definitely a place to add on your gallery list here in Sacramento.

This new gallery is stunning and so welcome in Sacramento. I try to get down to Second Saturday’s as often as possible and last month was thrilled to find Groundswell. It’s bright and open and uncluttered, which I love. The focus here really is all on the art and the pieces selected were stunning. Really stunning! This gallery just feels a bit more polished than others, but not stuffy. I mean, the booze was following and they had live music to boot. I went back last Saturday and they had a new photography exhibit, equally great. I really recommend everyone put this gallery on their list of must-visits when in Sac. Well done!
