This was the worst service we have received in quite some time. It’s very clear the restaurant is understaffed and is stressed. Our waiter was wonderful, but he had so many tables he couldn’t even keep up. The food was dry and overcooked. It took us over 25 minutes to get each round of drinks. We ended up leaving and asking for a credit for one entree and a round of drinks. We will never return and suggest others do the same until this place gets their crap together.

Super long wait for chips queso guac and main entrees. At one point they ran out of salsa. One of the main dishes for vegetable fajitas was majorly burned. We ordered fajitas for 2 but honestly it looks like it’s for one.

Today me and husband dined in and we are the regular here. We ordered Enchiladas and taco salad which looked great. Enchiladas was great but in taco salad we found a bug. When I took a bit I got very bad taste and spit it out. Later after digging found a green color bug (as in image). We told to our server, she conveyed messages to her manager. Manager later came apologizing and literally lying in front of our face saying “ its just the cut off stem from the salad”. I don’t know why she denied what was in front of her. We should have cleaned with water before showing to her where she couldn’t deny. Anyway, foods are good here but don’t trust on the salad/greens here as they do not clean before serving to the customers.

The food was okay, some dishes were better than others, but nothing stood out as particularly amazing. The staff were friendly and attentive. The interior has a luxurious atmosphere, though the floor was a bit messy with crumbs.

Authentic Flavor and Stunning Views – A Perfect Dining Experience at Hacienda Colorado On a recent trip to Colorado Springs, I had the pleasure of dining at Hacienda Colorado, and it quickly became a highlight of my visit. I ordered the Fire-Grilled Garlic Shrimp Street Tacos, and they were nothing short of phenomenal. Each of the three tacos was served on a fire-grilled corn tortilla, filled with plump, juicy shrimp grilled to perfection, and layered with melted cheese that added just the right richness. The roasted habanero salsa and jalapeño peppers brought a smoky, spicy depth without overpowering the dish. At the same time, the fresh pico de gallo and cilantro avocado crema offered a cool, vibrant contrast that balanced the heat beautifully. Paired with well-seasoned Mexican rice, the meal was satisfying and flavorful — a true celebration of authentic Mexican cooking. The outdoor dining patio was another major highlight. Set against the backdrop of the Rocky Mountains, the views were absolutely breathtaking, especially as the sun began to set. It created a serene, elevated dining experience that felt both casual and upscale. Service was excellent. Our server was attentive and friendly, checking in at just the right moments without being intrusive. We never felt rushed, and the pacing of the meal was spot-on. If you’re visiting Colorado Springs and want a restaurant that offers top-notch food, excellent service, and some of the best views in town, Hacienda Colorado is a must. I highly recommend it and will return next time I’m in town!
