Words can’t begin to express our gratitude for this business. The staff is what makes this place the only boarding service we will ever choose. A year ago we boarded our Trooper for an annual family trip to New Mexico. While gone Troop became ill and ultimately passed away within a matter of hours. His passing was in no way related to the care and love he received at Home Away. As soon as he showed signs of illness the team called immediately. As he progressed they provided constant updates and ultimately transported him to an emergency vet clinic where he passed. Home Away staff drove Troop to the ER vet in their personal vehicle, stayed right beside him in our absence. Troop coded and passed quickly but he was never alone because Home Away staff never left his side and treated Troop like he was their doggo. After he passed we spoke to the staff member who gave him unconditional love and he cried with us; we can never thank him enough. Troop LOVED Home Away. Imagine the happiest 80lb boxer you’ve ever seen-wagging his tail SO hard his whole body shook. That’s how happy he was at Home Away each time we used their service. This family owned business and team of folks are world class. We have nothing but respect, loyalty, and tremendous gratitude for Home Away. If you are looking for a place to care for your pet, we highly recommend Home Away.

My pups absolutely love it here! It’s really nice that everyone always remembers the pups names even over the phone when I call to book for them because it really shows the level of care that the doggies are getting. Thank HAFH 💖

Best place to board your dog hands down. The staff is amazing and kind and they are flexible with your schedule. My dog absolutely loves it here and we feel comforted knowing she is in good hands while we are gone

This is a wonderful place to board your babies at. From scheduling the appointment, to drop off, the courtesy calls and pick up. The facility is clean from the outside and when you walk in. I want to applaud the staff for being so attentive and paying such close attention to the needs of my dog with limited mobility. The staff noticed some difficulty with my dog and it was addressed to the Manager. The Manager reached out to me to solve the issue and checked back with me to see as a courtesy. I can’t thank them enough for the efforts they done for me and letting me worry/stress less while I was out of state. The kindness and compassion they gave me was such a sigh of relief after stressful travel. I also have a very specific diet and feeding routine for my dog and they accommodated to that with no issues! I definitely will recommend their business and they support Military and First Responders!!

Finnick has been to Home Away From Home Kennels twice to be bathed, have his ears cleaned, his nails trimmed and his booty glands cleaned. This is how he has come home to me both times. We had a bad experience at a big chain store and I had put off taking him for nail trims for a year. I relayed my concerns to the staff and let them know it was ok if they had to muzzle him. Staff assured me they would be gentle and only use a muzzle as a last resort. Then when I picked him up they told me he didn’t need it. He loves coming here and is not scared when we walk up to the door. I appreciate that he feels safe going in and happy coming home. Thank you!
