I don't recommend this company at all!! Their prices are high and quality of work low. The service is AWEFUL!! I purchased and had them install a tankless water heater in June (almost $10k). After installation it took several callbacks for the heater to work properly. Now 6 months later the brand new pump doesn't work. I called them to fix it, they have scheduled and rescheduled 4 times!!! This company thinks their customers are either independently wealthy or have the leisure of just taking time off work to sit home and wait for them ALL day. They won't even give you a 3 hour window....simply 8-5. So what do you get for patiently waiting (because you have no other choice....unless you spend more money), a "sorry, we need to reschedule". They didn't even call me, I had to call them when it was almost 6 pm and no one had showed. Truly UNBELIEVABLE. I DEFINITELY made the WRONG call but trust I won't do it again.

I have had numerous plumbers from J. Blanton out to my home, which was built back in the 1950s, and the standout by far has been Edgar. He is incredibly respectful, extremely knowledgeable, and takes the time to give clear, thorough explanations of exactly what services are needed and why—especially important with an older home like ours. I never once felt pressured into unnecessary work or upsells. We are members of the “No Drip Club,” and Edgar was the only plumber who was able to successfully remove a stubborn clean-out cap next to a very old bathtub. His patience, expertise, and problem-solving skills truly set him apart. He carefully explains each step of what he’s doing and how it will resolve the issue, which gives us complete confidence in his work. I honestly wish Edgar could be the plumber who comes to our house every time. Because of his professionalism, knowledge, and patience with older homes, I highly recommend J. Blanton Plumbing. Edgar is a true asset to the company.

Edgar is a fantastic tech and was extremely professional and fantastic to work with. He was upfront and allowed me to view the issues from the camera before any money changed hands. He had multiple suggestions on how to further prevent issues, but was never pushy on trying to sell additional fixes. We had a pretty serious sewer main blockage and it was no issue for him. He was incredibly friendly and efficient throughout the entire time. We’ve used several plumbing companies in the past, but Edgar was well above the rest. Thank you!
