My advice is run don't walk to the nearest exit. #1, the woman doing your taxes won't tell you upfront what the change will be. Even if you only have one W-2. I've never encountered this with any other tax service. #2, I wasn't given a copy of my state return. I came back the next day and asked for it. I was told it was filed electronically so you don't get a copy, seriously this wasn't my first time filing. Yet my federal and city tax were also filed electronically and I got a copy of those. Thankfully she had another customer when I came in and didn't want me to press the issue. She told me if she prints my state taxes, it would be redlined to by Jackson Hewitt and no further copies would be allowed. I had her print it anyway. There was no redline. What are you doing Theresa??

The refund advance this year to me is a joke.So jackson hewitt has changed there bank for refund advances to first century bank. I have filed my taxes at least for the past few years and have not had any issue with the previous bank with the refund advance loan. This year, I received a pre approval for the max amount of 3500 before I filed in an email from First century, then when I filed they only approved me for 500.00. The reason i use this service is to help when im in a crunch and need some early funds but to pay these high fees and to be misled by First Century is some bull. Jackson hewitt needs to return to there previous bank, I know that im not the only one this may have happened too and get this I filed weeks ago ,recieved the 500.00 and today just got an email from first century telling me"your approved and funds will release today" what type of financial institution is this. Just awful!!🤬

I was very satisfied with the service and help from Theresa Davis. She got me in and got me out quickly and was very helpful. I will definitely be returning next year to file with her again.
