Jimmy’s is a unique store, with great products, and I fell in love with their sandwiches. Lately the prosciutto panino (my favorite!) has been a disappointment. The prosciutto is cut so thick I can barely bite through it. The quality of the ingredients is great, but it’s not appetizing. I hope they get back to a higher standard on the sandwiches. (And yes I realize I’m being picky - prosciutto is supposed to be almost shaved, not cut like ham)

Amazing old Italian style sandwich shop and grocery. I didn’t purchase any groceries but they have a nice selection of wines as well as specialty Italian items. Sandwiches are phenomenal. I will be back on my next trip to Dallas to try more offerings. The building and the whole vibe really gives the sense you’re in an old Italian neighborhood in New York. Highly recommend!

Great place, with a variety of customized foods from their own creations; this is a "hard to find" type of place attended by its owners and keeping the traditions. A must visit in your trip to Dallas.

Like walking into a shop in Italy again. We walked in ready to see what the buzz was all about and instantly the smells and feel let us know Jimmy’s Food Store was pure Italian buonissimo! We picked up various cheeses and snacks along with three subs and a muffaleta. All were very good! Employees are fast and efficient too.

Jimmy’s Food Store delivers serious sandwiches. The Prosciutto Panino has clean flavor and balance. The meat has depth and the bread has the right texture. The Italian Beef hits even harder. Rich juice. Tender slices. Every bite has purpose. Good is an understatement. This place sets a standard. The store stays busy. Aisles run tight. You move around people and you wait a bit. None of it matters once you taste the food. It is worth every minute. The staff works fast and stays patient during the rush. They know what they are doing and they do it well. You leave full and satisfied. You remember the flavor later. You start planning the next visit. Five stars.
